2010 Annual Symposium on Chronic Kidney Disease

This full-day symposium will focus on the link between cardiovascular disease (CVD), diabetes and chronic kidney disease (CKD); the clinical and psycho-social complications of hypertension and diabetes for diabetics on dialysis; pediatric nephrolithiasis; bariatric surgery and its nutritional implications in preparation for kidney transplantation; the gried process for CKD patients; diabetic kidney disease; accurate dosing for CKD; the 2011 initiation of bundling; acute kidney failure; mineral disorders in CKD; kidney/pancreas transplantation; and an overview of the conditions of coverage. This program is designed for physicians (nephrologists, cardiologists, endocrinologists, internists, family care practitioners, pediatricians, and transplant surgeons), physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, dietitians, social workers, pharmacists and dialysis technicians.
