Kidney Early Evaluation Program (KEEP) Reference Ranges

Blood Pressure (From the JNC VII Guidelines)
Systolic: < 120 mm Hg — Normal
              120—139 mm Hg — Pre-hypertensive
              140—159 mm Hg — Hypertension (stage1)
              >160 mm Hg — Hypertension (stage2)

Diastolic: < 80 mm Hg— Normal
               80—89 mm Hg — Pre-hypertensive
               90—99 mm Hg — Hypertension (stage 1)
               >100 mm Hg — Hypertension (stage 2)

If the participant has diabetes and/or kidney disease the target range for systolic is <130 mm Hg and diastolic is <80 mm Hg.

Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR)

Phosphorus: >64 years: 2.1—4.3 mg/dl — Normal
Intact PTH: 10—65 pg/dl — Normal

The following test will be done on participants with self reported diabetes OR glucose levels inidicative of diabetes only:

Hemoglobin A1c: ≤7% — Normal
