TRUE! According to a recent New York Times article published on April 26, 2010, studies have found that not getting enough sleep may increase appetite and in turn lead to weight gain. It’s important to keep this in mind and to make sure you’re still getting a good night’s sleep! You should plan ahead to modify your schedule. With shorter fall daylight hours, you may need to make workout adjustments. For example, if you typically run outside in the mornings, you may need to make changes to your schedule in order to account for the darkness and still keep up your exercise routine.
