Educational Stipends
Apply now to receive an educational stipend from the National Kidney Foundation!
Nephrology Fellows
The National Kidney Foundation will provide educational stipends of up to $900, based on travel distance, to Nephrology Fellows and Trainees. To apply for a stipend you must complete an online application and submit along with a letter of recommendation from your training Program Director, on institutional letterhead. A maximum of three applications per program will be considered. Since funds may be limited, Program Directors should indicate the relative priority of multiple applicants in a cover letter.
Please note: Fellows are expected to attend the entire meeting from April 14-17, and are required to register and pay the “General Registration” fee of $50.

Internal Medicine and Pediatric Trainees Program
The National Kidney Foundation invites Internal Medicine and Pediatric trainees to apply for sponsorship to attend SCM10. The intent of this sponsorship program is to encourage highly qualified and interested individuals to enter the field of Nephrology. We hope that by exposing Internal Medicine and Pediatric trainees to cutting-edge clinical and experimental Nephrology in a stimulating learning environment, they may gain a better understanding of our subspecialty. The program is intended for those individuals who may be interested in but are not already committed to a Nephrology fellowship program. Selected applicants will receive complimentary registration to the Meeting as well as travel grants of up to $900, depending upon travel distance. While we recognize that house staff often have difficulty getting coverage at their home institutions for their travel, acceptance of a travel grant means that the individual will be present for the entire Resident's program from Thursday, April 15 at 8:00 am through Friday, March 16 at 7:30pm.
