Guidelines for Hosting an Ancillary Event in Conjunction with the NKF Spring Clinical Meetings

The Spring Clinical Meetings will host over 2,500 participants, May 9-13, 2012 in Washington, DC. SCM12 allows groups to hold various events in conjunction with their annual meeting:

The NKF does not allow groups to hold educational or Continuing Medical Education (CME) events during the Spring Clinical Meetings.
The NKF requires that all activities held in conjunction with the Spring Clinical Meetings be coordinated through our office. This ensures the NKF is aware of every activity, so we can better assist participants in planning their agendas or finding a specific activity, while ensuring the primary focus of the Spring Clinical Meetings remains quality continuing education for participants. We ask that groups respect the educational focus of our meeting by coordinating all outside activities through the NKF.
