Target Audience:
Designed for physician directors, nurse managers, patient care supervisors, administrators and quality managers.
Course Description:
The emphasis will be on updating the national issues as they relate to facility management and the impact of the 2008 conditions of coverage on patient care and facility operations. A second session will address bundling strategies.
Course Objectives:
- Review the national quality goals
- Describe the trade-offs in cost, quality, value
- Identify the ethical dilemmas created by quality contingent reimbursement
