Target Audience: Dialysis Nurses and Technicians preparing for national certification for CCHT, CDN and CNN
Course Description: This pre-conference session will review topics and concepts necessary to successful pass national certification exam. National certification exam will be offered to those submitting applications and meeting exam criteria.
All Exam applications must be submitted to NNCC by January 22, 2013. Please visit this site for application forms and more information.
Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Identify the principles of dialysis and appropriate responses of technicians in the dialysis setting
- Explain the role and scope of practice for the certificated dialysis technician
- Comprehend renal anatomy and psychology
- Receive test taking strategies to assist in successfully pass national certification exam
