Target Audience: Dialysis Nurses and Technicians preparing for national certification for CCHT, CDN and CNN

Course Description: This pre-conference session will review topics and concepts necessary to successful pass national certification exam. National certification exam will be offered to those submitting applications and meeting exam criteria.

Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the principles of dialysis and appropriate responses of technicians in the dialysis setting
  • Explain the role and scope of practice for the certificated dialysis technician
  • Comprehend renal anatomy and psychology
  • Receive test taking strategies to assist in successfully pass national certification exam
