Workshop Description: This workshop will explore the knowledge and skill set needs of the staff and patient for cannulation and maintenance of AVFs and AVGs. Patient education, staff skills, and various cannulation techniques will be presented. Assessment and maintenance of the hemodialysis access will also be discussed to ensure optimal outcomes for the patient.
