Dialysis Unit Management

Target Audience:
Designed for physicians, medical directors, nurse managers, quality managers, advanced practitioners, and physician trainees.

Course Description:
This course provides an understanding of the practical issues for dialysis facility management and quality improvement (QI). A diverse group of experts will review the external financial and regulatory forces, and the internal technical and patient management issues pertinent to deliver excellent care. They will highlight how successful facilities integrate QI into the day to day care of their patients.

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participant will:

  • Anticipate and prepare for the state and local regulatory inspections
  • Identify the financial imperatives for running a successful dialysis facility, and the impact of bundling.
  • Best position your dialysis unit to deliver safe, high quality dialysis treatment
  • Align patient centered care with regulatory compliance.
