Target Audience:
This activity is designed for advanced nephrologists, physicians in training, as well as other physicians who are interested and involved with the management of hypertension and cardiovascular disease.
Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Review the latest advances in basic physiology, vascular biology, molecular cardiology, cardiovascular disease epidemiology and target organ damage relative to hypertension
- Acquire the latest information about risk factors for cardiovascular disease and new directions in the management of hypertensive disorders
- Review the pathophysiology and current knowledge about interrelationships between blood pressure and the kidney
