NKF Launches New People Like Us E-Advocacy Network

New York, NY
May 15, 2007

You can bring chronic kidney disease to the attention of lawmakers with the click of a mouse as part of the National Kidney Foundation’s (NKF) newly-launched People Like Us E-Advocacy Network.

The network provides periodic action alert emails to volunteer advocates so they can make an impact on kidney disease, transplantation and organ donation legislation. The action alerts will outline the issue and proposed legislation, and offer a sample letter that can be personalized and e-mailed directly to your Member of Congress.

You can help strengthen the voice of kidney patients by joining the People Like Us Network today and asking your colleagues, patients and friends to join as well. For more information, contact Jayne Mardock at jaynem@kidney.org or call 1.800.889.9559.
