New York, NY (March 25, 2014) – Keith Turner, President of Advertising Sales & Marketing at Univision Communications Inc., the leading media company serving Hispanic America, will be honored by the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) at its seventh annual Springtime in New York benefit reception. The event will be held Thursday, April 10, at 6 p.m., at The Allen Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City.
Turner oversees advertising sales and marketing for the top-tier, Hispanic multimedia company with 16 broadcast, cable and digital networks; 62 television stations; 68 radio stations; an array of online and mobile apps and products and content creation facilities in Miami, New York and Los Angeles.
He will be honored with the Visionary Leader Award for his pioneering advertising success and his dedication to the community.

Turner has more than 30 years of demonstrated success in the media industry. He most recently served as the senior vice president of Media Sales and Sponsorship at the NFL. Prior to joining the NFL, Mr. Turner spent more than 20 years at NBC where he held various roles including President of Sales and Marketing, among other positions.
The Springtime in New York committee is chaired by Daniel Donnelly of Donnelly Mechanical Corp. and co-chaired by William G. Dessoffy, Regional Managing Director, First Republic Bank and Board Chairman of the National Kidney Foundation serving Greater New York; Joseph Abruzzese, President, Advertising Sales at Discovery Communications; and Bill Cella, Senior Partner, The Cheyenne Group.
Lisa Cochrane, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Allstate Insurance Company, will also be honored at the gala with the Chuck Fruit Award of Excellence, which is bestowed upon an executive whose professional achievements and personal qualities match the iconic example set by Chuck Fruit, who passed away in 2008 from kidney disease and its complications.
