The Games is held over the course of 4 days. How do I determine my age category?

Your age category at the Games is determined by your age on the day of Opening Ceremonies (Saturday, July 31, 2010).

How do I make reservations?

Online registration and housing is scheduled to open February 8, 2010. Please contact your local team manager for additional details.

What is the deadline to register?

The national Games registration deadline is May 21, 2010. Please check with team manager for local deadlines, they may be earlier.

If people have more than one person in the hotel room, do they all get a shuttle pass?

Up to four people can get a shuttle pass for each hotel room.

Where can athletes get a copy of the medical waiver to take to their doctor if they register online?

My Child is 2 years old. Is she too young to compete?

Transplant recipients and living donors of all ages can participate in the Games. Your team manager can advise what events would be appropriate for your child.

Do children of all ages need to register in order to attend the Games?

All athletes are required to register. Non-athletes three and under do not need to register as long as they are accompanied by a registered adult.

Can I watch competitions without registering?

For those who do not register for the Games, there is a $15 daily admission fee to attend most events and activities.

If I register for the Games but get sick and cannot attend, can I get my money back?

Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Cancellations of upgrades will be granted with the following penalty; until March 19, 2010, no penalty; March 20th - April 30th, total cost of upgrades or $50, whichever is less; May 1st - May 31st, total cost of upgrades or $100, whichever is less. After May 31st, there will be no refunds for cancellations.

What if I want to participate in a doubles event and do not have a partner?

You must provide the name of your doubles partner before the registration deadline. Contact your team manager if you need assistance finding a partner. Please note that both partners must be on the same local team. If a registered partner is not provided by the deadline, your registration for that event will be canceled.

As a living donor, what sports am I eligible to compete in?

Living donors are able to compete in an Open age division in the 5K Road Race, 100M Run, Long Jump, and Softball Throw.

Are all attendees able to utilize the Games shuttles?

Attendees who register for the Games AND book their housing reservations through Games Registration and Housing Bureau will have full use of the Games shuttle service (up to four passes per room, depending on number of people and room type). Otherwise, a Games transportation pass may be purchased as an upgrade to your registration for $40.

How many sports can I compete in?

Athletes are allowed to compete in up to four events not including the 5K road race, relays, volleyball, basketball, team golf and ballroom dancing.
