The Youth Program highlights various activities throughout Games-week that allow for the hundreds of young people that attend to connect with one another, share experiences, cultivate friendships and have fun!

An opportunity for children (13 and under) and juniors (14-17) attending the Games to come together and get to know one another before the Games begin. Open to recipients, living donors, donor families, and supporters.
Each day of the Games, there is a fun activity or trip intended just for kids. Open to recipients, living donors, donor families, and supporters.
Enjoy a fun-filled, "farmtastic" morning at Schuster's Playtime Farm, home of the 2010 U.S. Transplant Games Corn Maze! Climb unique play structures, relax on a beautiful hayride, weave through corn mazes, experience endearing animals, and more! www.schustersplaytimefarm.com
Children ages 17 and under participating in this activity at the Build-A-Bear Workshop will make two bears--one to keep and the spare bear will be donated to a child being cared for at American Family Children's Hospital (Madison) or Children's Hospital of Wisconsin (Milwaukee). The workshop will take place Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 8AM-12PM. Fee: $10 per child. No charge for accompanying adults.
Just for Teens - A special workshop for donor family members age 13-18.
Transplant recipients and living donors can compete in the events below. Non-athletes can cheer on their new-found friends!
Juniors 14-17 may compete in all standard competitions, same as adults.
Children 11-13: Badminton; Basketball; Bowling; Cycling 1K; Road Race 1K; Swimming 50 Free, 50 Back, 50 Breast, 50 Butterfly; Table Tennis; Tennis; Track 100M; Long Jump; High Jump; Softball Throw; Volleyball; and Ballroom Dancing (demonstration sport)
Children 6-10: Badminton; Basketball; Bowling; Cycling 1K; Road Race 1K; Swimming 25 Free; Table Tennis; Tennis; Track 50M; Long Jump; Softball Throw
Children 5 and under: Bowling; Cycling 1K; Swimming 25 Free; Track 25M; Long Jump; Softball Throw
Children and Junior compete in an Open division, which is not categorized by age.
