Awards
The Council of Advanced Practitioners acknowledges the contributions of its national members and those impacting the kidney community through annual awards. The Council encourages its members to consider submitting nominations for the awards. Awards will be presented at the NKF's 2010 Spring Clinical Meetings. Nominations for awards are due September 15, 2009. The award categories are:

Research Grants
CAP awards research grants each year to its national members. The purpose of CAP Research Grants Program is to further knowledge of advance practice issues in the management of kidney failure. The grants may cover basic or applied research in the area of kidney failure, early intervention and treatment of chronic kidney disease, development and evaluation of education programs to enhance patient/family understanding of kidney failure treatment or demonstration projects related to kidney failure and rehabilitation.
