NKF provides broad resources for the professional advancement of all nephrology health care providers. The Clinical Nephrology Meetings bring attendees up-to-date on the latest research related to the practice of nephrology with sessions for nephrology nurses and technicians, renal dietitians and nephrology social workers. The meeting focuses on the most current clinical practice issues for each of these nephrology professionals.

- Pocket Guide to Nutritional Assessment of the Patient with Chronic Kidney Disease, 3rd Edition
A concise pocket-sized book that contains a collection of practical assessment tools and KDOQI guidelines to evaluate the nutrition status and calculate the nutritional needs of the adult and pediatric patient with chronic kidney disease.

The on-line format of the 3rd edition enables the reader to view and/or print select chapters of the Pocket Guide and link to specific KDOQI Clinical Practice Guidelines that are referenced in the Pocket Guide. Access to the online resource will be available to members for the duration of membership. Non-members can pay a one-time fee of $50 for access to the online Pocket Guide for a period of one year from the date of payment. RenalRD is a listserv primarily for those with an interest in renal nutrition. It consists of subscribers from the U.S., Canada and other locations. Like Renalpro, it is unmoderated and is sponsored by the University of Alberta. ![]()
PedsRenalRD Discussion Group
PedsRenalRD is an unmoderated on-line discussion group for those with an interest in renal pediatric nutrition and related issues. We anticipate that pediatric renal dietitians will be the most frequent subscribers, but welcome all others with interest in nephrology and/or nutrition disorders of the kidney. ![]()
