Live SymposiaCardio-Renal Care: An Integrated Best Practice Approach

This CME/CE program will include definitions, epidemiology, pathophysiology, and risk factors related to cardio-renal syndromes. An interactive case study will be presented using both the nephrology and cardiology perspective and then combining these for an integrated best practice approach to care.

To further improve the knowledge and understanding of chronic kidney disease, NKF offers continuing education activities that are accredited for physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, dietitians, pharmacists, social workers, transplant coordinators, certified case managers and dialysis technicians on an array of topics in varied formats for the user.

The National Kidney Foundation is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The National Kidney Foundation (OH-337, 12/12/2012) is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Ohio Nurses Association (OBN-001-91), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

CPE Accredited ProviderThe National Kidney Foundation is a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Accredited Provider with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).


The NKF Council of Nephrology Social Workers, provider #1014, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program, on a program specific basis.
