KDOQI (Kidney Disease Outcomes Quality Initiative)

Clinical Practice Gudielines

These guidelines will offer recommendations for diagnosing and staging diabetic kidney disease. They will define the prevalence, frequency and severity of CKD-specific complications in diabetic kidney disease, describe treatment approaches and propose research areas where data is lacking. The work group has convened two meetings and the guidelines will be published in 2005.
