The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The NKF is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the New York State Nurses Association, an accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

It has been assigned code 7XPLGU-PRV-09.

The NKF Council of Nephrology Social Workers, provider #1014, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program, on a program specific basis.

CPE Accredited Provider The National Kidney Foundation is a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Accredited Provider with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

Kidney Learning System To further improve the knowledge and understanding of chronic kidney disease, NKF offers continuing education activities that are accredited for physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, dietitians, pharmacists, social workers, transplant coordinators and dialysis technicians on an array of topics in varied formats for the user.
