Introduced in 2000, RenaLink is the joint newsletter of the Council of Nephrology Nurses and Technicians (CNNT), the Council of Nephrology Social Workers (CNSW), and the Council on Renal Nutrition (CRN) of the National Kidney Foundation. A Council membership benefit, RenaLink includes news for each Council, information vital to the renal care team and ideas that should lead to further collaboration among allied health professionals in the renal field.
Each bimonthly issue of Advances in Chronic Kidney Disease presents focused review articles devoted to a single topic of current importance in clinical nephrology and related fields. Topics covered will be of interest to practicing nephrologists (pediatric and adult), nephrology fellows (pediatric and adult), nurses, technicians, dietitians, and social workers caring for patients with kidney disease. The American Journal of Kidney Diseases (AJKD), the official journal of NKF, is recognized worldwide as a leader in clinical nephrology content. AJKD publishes original investigations describing the latest findings related to kidney diseases, hypertension, dialysis therapies, and kidney transplantation. Case reports in each issue reveal new diseases and potential therapeutic strategies. Chronic Kidney Disease: A Guide to Select NKF KDOQI Guidelines and Recommendations 2006 was developed in collaboration with Nephrology Pharmacy Associates, Inc. It contains key guidelines and recommendations for the care of patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) based on KDOQI guidelines published through 2006.
