- Research Fellowship Application
Applications are due on or before March 15, 2011.
The purpose of National Kidney Foundation (NKF) Research Fellowships is: (1) to foster training of young and new investigators with the potential of making contributions to the understanding and cure of kidney diseases; (2) to foster, through training fellows, kidney-related research that is of high merit; and (3) to encourage high quality applicants who want to make a career change into academic Nephrology.

- Young Investigator Grant Program
NKF will not be accepting applications for The Young Investigator Grants in this funding cycle.
The purpose of the Young Investigator Grant Program is to support research in the fields of nephrology, urology and related disciplines by individuals who have completed fellowship training and who hold junior faculty positions at university-affiliated medical centers in the United States.
Applications will be considered from individuals who will have completed research training in nephrology, urology or closely related fields prior to the start of the grant award and who intend to pursue research directly related to these areas.

- KDOQI Research Grant
Due to budgetary shortfalls at the National Kidney Foundation, there will be no new funding available for KDOQI Research grants in 2011. This means that we will not be able to issue a new RFA at this time. NKF is currently funding four KDOQI research grants at $150,000/yr, and anticipates that the RFA will be issued as soon as sufficient funds become available for additional awards. - Clinical Scientist Award

NKF will not be accepting or supporting research applications at this time.
