| Athletes should note that this event will also include interested individuals involved in organ and tissue donation and transplantation. Recipient Families, Donor Families and health professionals are invited to participate. The purpose of this event is to illustrate the diversity of the people it takes to make organ transplantation possible. Only transplant athletes will be eligible for Games medals, but there will be a separate awards structure for all other participants. (Please note: For non-Transplant Games athletes, there is a separate registration and fee for this event.) |
