National Kidney Foundation provides information and support to newly diagnosed patients, educate medical providers on the most up-to-date treatment approaches and help those at greatest risk for kidney disease take steps to avert it. Gift of Fitness

Gift of Fitness Three month complimentary introductory membership at a patient's local YM/YWCA. Exercise can greatly improve outlook and outcomes for kidney patients and transplant recipients. Referrals come from social workers, nurses and physicians at area dialysis and transplant centers. In some cases, patients can also arrange for discounts on continuing memberships.
