Through the School Challenge program, NKF can provide teachers with helpful information to share with students and their families regarding kidney disease and organ transplantation. The School Challenge is a great way to reinforce the importance of nutrition and exercise in regard to kidney health.
The funds raised through School Challenge events enable NKF to offer a variety of programs, treatments and public screenings which are critical to improving the lives of those diagnosed with kidney disease. 26 Million Americans---1 in 9 adults---have chronic kidney disease and most don't know it. So, please join the National Kidney Foundation in the fight against kidney disease, and rally your school to make a positive difference in people's lives!
