Ask the Doctor
Questions about kidney disease? Risk factors? Signs and symptoms? Are you concerned about yourself, a friend or family member? Ask Dr. Spry.
Do you or your family members have high blood pressure, diabetes or both conditions? Then now is the time to get tested for kidney disease. 1 in 8 people have kidney disease or are at risk of developing it, but most people don't know they have it until they need to go on dialysis. Take action before it's too late, it could save your life.
The Kidney Early Evaluation Program is a free health screening service offered by the National Kidney Foundation for individuals 18 years of age or older at increased risk of developing kidney disease.
If you have high blood pressure or diabetes, or a parent, grandparent, brother or sister with diabetes, high blood pressure or kidney disease you should attend.
Information and educational materials will be on hand at screening.
For a schedule of the next available screenings in your area, contact Rachel N'Diaye at 215-923-8611.
