Kidney Gift of Life Gala

The Gift of Life is the gift that keeps on giving, thanks in part to the dedicated support of so many who have received a kidney transplant or have family members who have had this miracle surgery.

More than 400 guests celebrated LIFE and recognized the important work of the National Kidney Foundation by attending the annual Kidney Gift of Life Gala on Saturday, March 2nd at the South Side's Circuit Center & Ballroom -- a great place to party! Before a delectable dinner was served, this year's Gift of Life honorees were introduced: Corporate Awardee John Heher, Medical Honoree Dr. Rita McGill and Small Hands, Big Heart Awardee Zinna Scott.

Phil and Ginny Petraglia chaired the evening while Protégé rocked the dance floor. Dynamic Pittsburgh model, Elena LaQuatra emceed the evening while guests flashed their pearly whites in the photo booth, compliments of Shutterbooth Pittsburgh and browsed fabulous packages at both the live and silent auctions.

We are proud to report that thanks to all of our supporters, this year's Gala was not only a record-breaker sell-out but also raised over $165,000! Check out the event photo gallery.
