The National Kidney Foundation is proud to announce that our annual Kidney Gift of Life Gala will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014. To accommodate the growing size, the All that Glitters is Gold Gala will take place at the venue that breathes black and gold: Heinz Field's East Club Lounge. This year's Gala will feature live entertainment by Protégé as well as a VIP reception, open bar, sit down dinner, a Shutterbooth photo booth, and silent and live auctions. The spotlight will shine during our special Gift of Life Awardee presentation.

The NKF Golf Classic is the Premier Amateur Golf Event for Charity. Each year thousands of golfers from across the country participate in over 40 local events for the exciting competition and the chance to qualify for the National Finals at Pebble Beach.

Medic Alert (888-633-4298) will waive the fee if the patient submits a letter from his/her doctor on the doctor's letterhead and proof of monthly income. These documents must be submitted along with the company's application form.
American Medical ID (800-363-5985) will provide the stainless steel version for free with a letter from the doctor on the doctor's letterhead. The original letter has to be mailed to the company; it cannot be a photocopy or a fax.
Pennsylvania residents who meet eligibility requirements are reimbursed for a portion of the transportation costs associated with traveling to and from dialysis treatment three times a week. This program is run in collaboration with, and within the guidelines of, the Pennsylvania State Renal Disease Program.
