* May take longer during peak hours; including time spent in line waiting to begin the screening
If you are at risk, you'll be encouraged to follow up with your doctor* or sign up for an appointment at the next available Kidney Early Evaluation Program (KEEP) screening. KEEP is a free comprehensive health screening which includes blood and urine tests used to determine your kidney function. * If you do not have a primary care provider (PCP), you will be provided with a listing of free and sliding-scale clinics. |
"The risk assessment I received made a big difference to my health and well-being. During the screening, one of the health professionals noticed that I was taking a medication that was causing me harm. Thanks to the NBC4 Expo, I'm no longer taking that medication and am in touch with my cardiologist."
