“Coffeehouse Conversations™ ” is a transplant-specific support group to help foster conversation, education, friendship and support from transplant recipients and their support people in East Tennessee.
This group meets the second Thursday on every month!
All meetings start at 6:00PM
MAY 14, 2009- “Nutrition & Transplant”- Special Guest Libby Reed, RD- Transplant Dietitian
JUNE 11, 2009- “Exercise & Transplantation”- An exercise physiologist from Associated Therapeutics will be the featured guest.
JULY 9, 2009- “Diabetes and Transplant” – Special Guest, Kelli Tidwell, MSN, APRN, CDE- Nephrology Consultants of East TN
AUGUST 2009- “Taking Control of Your Health”- Special Guest Stephanie Burgett, NP- Nephrology Associates (?)
SEPTEMBER 10, 2009- “Skin Cancer and Transplant”- Special Guest Dermatologist Meridith Overholt, MD from the Skin Wellness Center
