Oh What A Break! An Inspiring Story of Surviving Dialysis
Delores Johnson has been fighting illness for 26 years. She was surrounded by diabetes and dialysis at an early age; her grandmother ended up passing away because of kidney failure. She was told at age 11, after waking up from a coma brought on by diabetes, that she would not live to be an adult. She is now 36-years-old and doing well fighting her kidney disease.

The David McGaugh Story
David McGaugh received some information that he never expected in the fall of 1996. He was told by his primary care doctor that he had to start dialysis soon because both his kidneys were failing.

I come from a family which carries the Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) gene that destroys kidneys. My mother died of PKD when I was in high school. While growing up, I believed I would be lucky and not inherit the disease. Wrong. At age 22, I learned that I too had PKD.
