The National Kidney Foundation Serving Ohio and DaVita Dialysis are proud to announce the next public Coffee House Conversation, taking place on Saturday, May 18th at the beautiful Breckenridge Village in Willoughby. We invite patients who have been diagnosed with Stage 3, 4 or 5 (dialysis) chronic kidney disease to come have breakfast and a conversation with health care professionals and veteran patients who will be able to answer as many questions as possible in a ninety minute program. The professionals will include a nephrologist, a nurse practitioner, a renal dietician, and a social worker.
This conversation will not include hand outs, Power Point presentations, or any other ingredient of a business meeting. Instead, we want patients to feel relaxed and very comfortable in a beautiful and tranquil setting. We realize that there are so many questions that a newly diagnosed patient has, and we encourage you to bring those questions with you and to meet other individuals in the same situation. These questions will lead to a conversation that will hopefully lead each guest to realize they are not alone, and support is available.
Please feel free to bring a family member with you as we know they have lots of questions too. Please RSVP immediately to Amy Solmos Wayne at (440) 933-4909.
