National Kidney Foundation Cadillac Golf Classic
The NKF Cadillac Golf Classic tournaments are the Premier Amateur Golf Event for Charity with 40 events held throughout the country each year from April through December, raising over $3 million for the NKF. Top finishers in local tournaments are invited to compete in the NKF Cadillac Golf Classic National Finals at the Pebble Beach Resorts - the only event of its kind where you can win locally and move on to compete for a national title at The Pebble Beach Resorts. Kappa Kidney Camp, a weeklong overnight summer camp for children ages 8 to 18 who have kidney disease or have had a kidney transplant. Campers enjoy typical summer camp activities while bonding with other kids just like them. Last summer 40 children touched by kidney disease attended Camp at no cost due to generous donations from organizations, corporations and individual donors.

NKF's Kidney Early Evaluation Program (KEEP®) offers free screenings for those at risk. Through three simple tests that determine kidney function, the KEEP program is finding kidney disease at the earliest stage possible.
2013 Kidney and Transplant Symposium

2013 Kidney and Transplant Symposium will take place Tuesday, April 30 - Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Quest Business Center, 8405 Pulsar Place, Columbus, OH 43240. This professional education program will provide contact hours for nurse practitioners, nurses, technicians, social workers and dietitians who work in the fields of Chronic Kidney Disease, dialysis and transplant. Emergency Financial Assistance - The National Kidney Foundation Serving Ohio provides Emergency Financial Assistance to Ohio patients in need. Patients from the Cincinnati Region may qualify to receive assistance with medications, transportation to and from dialysis, nutritional supplements, groceries and utilities. Patients from other regions of the state may qualify to receive assistance with medications, transportation to and from dialysis and nutritional supplements. To apply for these funds, patients must contact their renal social worker to complete an application. Files are password protected, please contact (614) 882-6184 ext. 226 for access.
New Patient Packets - New Patient Information Packets are made available to all patients who receive treatment for kidney failure at facilities served by the us. Its purpose is to inform patients and their families abut kidney disease and of the variety of resources and activities we provide.
Living Donor Information Packets are made available to anyone who is potentially interested in being a living kidney donor. The packets provide information about the evaluation process for potential donors, the benefits and risk of donation, and where you can find additional information and support. If you're interested in being a living donor and would like information about kidney donation, please contact Marsheen Campbell or call (614) 882-6184 ext. 221.
Donate Clothing and Household Items
Your unwanted, unused, and unneeded clothing and other household items can assist our programs. The National Kidney Foundation Serving Ohio has established a relationship with National Kidney Services, Inc., a Columbus, Ohio for profit corporation. Outsourcing the management of this program to Ohio Thrift Stores has been a part of fundraising efforts since 1988. Customers in the Columbus, Springfield, Dayton, Delaware, Washington Court House, Lancaster and surrounding areas wishing to participate may drop off or schedule a pickup and receive a tax deductable receipt for their useable items. The donations are sold to Ohio Thrift Stores and the proceeds are used to help fund NKF Serving Ohio's programs and services.
