2012 Kidney Walks

The Kidney Walk is a fun, inspiring noncompetitive fundraiser that calls attention to the prevention of kidney disease and the need for organ donation. In 2011, the Cleveland Kidney Walk raised over $185,000 and the Cincinnati Kidney Walk raised over $75,000 through corporate and community support.

The NKF Cadillac Golf Classic tournaments are the Premier Amateur Golf Event for Charity with 40 events held throughout the country each year from April through December, raising over $3 million for the NKF. Top finishers in local tournaments are invited to compete in the NKF Cadillac Golf Classic National Finals at the Pebble Beach Resorts - the only event of its kind where you can win locally and move on to compete for a national title at The Pebble Beach Resorts. KEEP® Early Detection Screenings

NKF's Kidney Early Evaluation Program (KEEP®) offers free screenings for those at risk. Through three simple tests that determine kidney function, the KEEP program is finding kidney disease at the earliest stage possible.

The National Kidney Foundation is again uniting local chefs, restaurants, and celebrities together in the fight against kidney disease. Chefs will create small dishes to be sampled by guests at the event. Complimentary photos with Celebrities will be available courtesy of The Columbus Photobooth Co. There will also be silent & live auction packages as well as live entertainment. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go toward the fight against kidney disease. More Info

Kappa Kidney Camp

Kappa Kidney Camp

Kappa Kidney Camp, a weeklong overnight summer camp for children ages 8 to 18 who have kidney disease or have had a kidney transplant. Campers enjoy typical summer camp activities while bonding with other kids just like them. Last summer 40 children touched by kidney disease attended Camp at no cost due to generous donations from organizations, corporations and individual donors.

Medical ID Jewelry - Provides patients with I.D. jewelry that will alert medical personnel to the specific needs of End Stage Renal Disease patients.

Emergency Financial Assistance - We offer patients limited funds on an emergency basis throughout the state of Ohio. All requests for Emergency Financial Assistance must be made by a renal social worker.

New Patient Packets - New Patient Information Packets are made available to all patients who receive treatment for kidney failure at facilities served by the us. Its purpose is to inform patients and their families abut kidney disease and of the variety of resources and activities we provide.
