NKF Serving Connecticut Staff

Donna Sciacca, Regional Program Director
Donna has worked at the NKF of Connecticut since 1996. She manages our patient education programs, the Nancy J. Marine Patient Emergency Fund, the medical jewelry program, and collaborates with area organizations and agencies to provide speakers for patient and professional education programs. Donna maintains and updates our resource library, which provides patients and families with brochures at no charge. She also writes the NKF of Connecticut newsletter.

Marcia Hilditch, Director Prevention Education
Marcia joined NKF in Sept. 1998. She is responsible for the post transplant educational programs, the speaker’s bureau and KEEP (Kidney Early Evaluation Program) screenings. She is also the manager of Team Connecticut, our transplant team of athletes.

Terri Smith, MSM, MBA, Regional Urban Outreach Director
Terri’s role is to generate buzz within the African American community about the increased risk of kidney disease and the impact to that community. The goal over the next two years will be to conduct educational forums and establish networks of key community leaders and organizations, around the state, that will serve as conduits of information that will create an on-going communication stream within the black community.

Linda Zuboff, Regional Special Events Manager
Linda Zuboff organizes and coordinates all major fundraising events, including the Gift of Life Gala, Kidney Walks and the NKF Classic Golf Tournament. She is responsible for securing funding for these events in conjunction with her committee volunteers. She also works closely with Mena on our local Kidney Kaptain fundraising events throughout the state.

Filomena Fiore, Regional Special Events Manager
Mena joined the NKF staff in September 1998. She manages the “Kidney Kaptain” Program. She is responsible for the identification, cultivation, of donors and constituents for hosting small individually organized fundraising events throughout the state of Connecticut. In addition, she provides guidance and support to the NKF development staff. She also admin isters all ongoing correspondence with individual donors, and has primary responsibility for maintaining the database, inputting and retrieving donation data and ensuring the seamless accuracy of the database.

Janine Roshka, Donor Records Manager
Her responsibilities include all internal bookkeeping functions and financial reporting procedures. She also assists with major meeting planning and tracking for the Chief Executive Officer.

Tiffany Christensen, Program and Events Assistant
Tiffany Christensen is the part-time Program and Events Assistant, supporting both the Fundraising and Programs/Services departments. Tiffany came to the NKF with a real estate background and her experience has equipped her with strong customer service skills. She is currently working on her Bachelor's degree in Public Administration and is the mother of two boys.
