Part of our mission is "to improve the health and well being" and "to increase the availability of all organs for transplantation". This is our passion and I truly believe in our mission and vision to benefit Maine's patients and their families. I feel very fortunate to come to work every day and be part of a great foundation and board of directors.

Jolene Bussiere
Regional Program Manager
Jolene Bussiere is the Regional Program Manager for NKF serving Maine. Her responsibilities include managing the Kidney Early Evaluation Programs (KEEP), the planning and execution of statewide health fairs, and the development of public and professional health education initiatives. Ms. Bussiere also serves as the Manager of the Team Maine Athletes in the US Transplant Games.
Our Mission
The National Kidney Foundation, Inc., a major voluntary health organization, seeks to prevent kidney and urinary tract diseases, improve the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by these diseases, and increase the availability of all organs for transplantation.
