Dr. David Hull

Dr. David Hull Honored By the National Kidney Foundation Serving Connecticut

The National Kidney Foundation Serving Connecticut (NKF) recently held its 45th Annual Meeting, where it honored Hartford Hospital’s David Hull, M.D. with The James P. Colangelo, MD Achievement Award.

The award, which was started in 1996, is given to those who through their actions emulate the work of nephrologist James P. Colangelo, whose strong leadership style brought enormous growth the National Kidney Foundation. Each year the Foundation recognizes someone in his honor for their dedication and work to improve the quality of life for Connecticut residents.

This is the highest award given by the NKF to individuals who have impacted the lives of all patients with kidney disease.

"Dr. Hull's commitment to his patients, as well as the entire renal community, has been extraordinary,” stated Kim Hathaway, Connecticut Regional Vice President of the National Kidney Foundation. “He is a dedicated and strong leader, and the NKF is thrilled to present this award to him.”

NKF of CT Donate Life License Plate

Connecticut Donate Life License Plate

Donate Life Connecticut is working with member agencies to produce a Connecticut Donate Life license plate! Before plates can be issued, the CT DMV requires a submission of 400 applications illustrating an interest in this special interest plate. When these license plates get on the road, they will serve as a constant reminder to Connecticut residents that one person can save and change the lives of dozens more.
