A Staten Island resident and team captain of "Samurai Beans" held an inaugural Charity Golf & Barbeque in September that raised $8,000 for the 2011 NYC Kidney Walk! Diagnosed with kidney disease some years ago, Stephanie's motivation is "to spread the word and raise awareness about kidney disease. If individually we all do something small, together we can all do something great!"
