Cherish Your Kidneys
The NKF of Central New York, Inc. will conduct a free health screening for people at increased risk for kidney disease on October 4 at the Huntington Family Center at 405 Gifford St., Syracuse, NY 13204, from 9 AM- 3 PM. Registration closes at 2:30 PM. The screening at no cost to you is designed to identify and educate people at risk – those who are above the age of 50 or those who have diabetes or high blood pressure. ![]()
Kidney Early Evaluation Program (KEEP)
KEEP is a free kidney health screening program designed to raise awareness about kidney disease among high risk individuals and provide free testing and educational information, so that kidney disease and its complications can be prevented or delayed. ![]()
NKF Golf Classic
The NKF Golf Classic is the nation's premier amateur golf event for charity. Each year thousands of golfers from across the country participate for the exciting competition, valuable gifts, and the chance to win great prizes, all to benefit a worthy cause. With tournaments held throughout the year in virtually every state, there is sure to be a golf tournament at a prestigious golf course near you. ![]()
U.S. Transplant Games
The U.S. Transplant Games is a four-day athletic competition among recipients of organ transplants. Competition in the U.S. Transplant Games is open to anyone who has received a lifesaving solid organ transplant--heart, liver, kidney, lung, and pancreas. Bone marrow recipients are also eligible to participate. As much as the Games is an athletic event that calls attention to the success of organ and tissue transplantation, it is also a celebration of life among recipients, their families and friends. ![]()
Kidney Walk
The NKF's Kidney Walk presents an occasion for dialysis patients, organ transplant recipients, donor families, living donors, the medical communities, and the general public to celebrate LIFE and support the Foundation's mission. ![]()

SADA Charity Preview
February 3, 2009 is the SADA Charity Preview, the premier social event of the year. Guests enjoy music, dancing, entertainment, delicious cuisine and a preview of new automobiles. The NKF of Central New York, Inc. is one of 13 select charities designated by the Syracuse Automobile Dealers Association (SADA) to sell tickets for this event. ![]()
