The NKF's Kidney Walk presents an occasion for dialysis patients, organ transplant recipients, donor families, living donors, the medical communities, and the general public to celebrate LIFE and support the Foundation's mission.
The NKF Serving East Tennessee Knoxville Kidney Walk and Funathlon Weekend is a fundraiser designed to raise both awareness and revenue for the fight against kidney disease.
U.S. Transplant Games
The U.S. Transplant Games is a four-day athletic competition among recipients of organ transplants. Competition in the U.S. Transplant Games is open to anyone who has received a lifesaving solid organ transplant--heart, liver, kidney, lung, and pancreas. Bone marrow recipients are also eligible to participate. As much as the Games is an athletic event that calls attention to the success of organ and tissue transplantation, it is also a celebration of life among recipients, their families and friends. ![]()
Kidney Early Evaluation Program (KEEP)
KEEP is a free kidney health screening program designed to raise awareness about kidney disease among high risk individuals and provide free testing and educational information, so that kidney disease and its complications can be prevented or delayed. ![]()
Chocolate Fest
East Tennessee's chocolate lovers are invited to attend one or both Chocolate Fest events. The day features scrumptious chocolate from some of the finest establishments in East Tennessee. This event includes a silent auction featuring autographed sports memorabilia, limited edition framed prints, sports items, dinner certificates, and more.

Golf Classic
The NKF Golf Classic is the nation's premier amateur golf event for charity.
Each year thousands of golfers from across the country participate for the exciting competition, valuable gifts, and the chance to win great prizes, all to benefit a worthy cause. With tournaments held throughout the year in virtually every area of the state, there is sure to be an NKF Golf Classic event at a prestigious golf course near you.
Kidney Spring Gala
Community Tectonics was the presenter of the 3rd Annual Kidney Spring Gala on May 15, 2009 from 7:00pm to 10:00pm at the beautiful Crescent Bend House and Gardens-the Armstrong-Lockett House. The evening back drop of the gardens and reflection of the moon on the water created a breathtaking view as guests enjoyed the exquisite cuisine prepared by local chefs, and wines from around the world. ![]()
Putt-Putt Tournament
This event is presented by the Kingsport Evening Civitan Club. All ages are encouraged to join the fun and help chronic kidney patients in East Tennessee. This is a great team-building exercise for businesses or for family fun! ![]()
