The NKF Serving Ohio organizes many special events throughout the state of Ohio each year. Special Events are an exciting way for us to forward our mission while raising much needed dollars for programs and services.
Young Profession@ls Exchange
Young Profession@ls Exchange is a young professionals group created, funded and implemented by the NKF Serving Ohio. Through YPE, local young business professionals can network with local executives while being an active volunteer with the NKF Serving Ohio and other local organizations. Members will participate in activities that teach networking and business development skills. 
Kidney Walk
The NKF's Kidney Walk presents an occasion for dialysis patients, organ transplant recipients, donor families, living donors, the medical communities, and the general public to celebrate LIFE and support the Foundation's mission.
Kidney Early Evaluation Program (KEEP)
KEEP is a free kidney health screening program designed to raise awareness about kidney disease among high risk individuals and provide free testing and educational information, so that kidney disease and its complications can be prevented or delayed.
U.S. Transplant Games
The U.S. Transplant Games is a four-day athletic competition among recipients of organ transplants. Competition in the U.S. Transplant Games is open to anyone who has received a lifesaving solid organ transplant--heart, liver, kidney, lung, and pancreas. Bone marrow recipients are also eligible to participate. As much as the Games is an athletic event that calls attention to the success of organ and tissue transplantation, it is also a celebration of life among recipients, their families and friends.
Wing's Charity Golf Outing
Each year the Yee family and their friends gather to host the Wings Charity Golf Outing in Memory of Siu K. Yee. Through the event, the Yee family has donated nearly $75,000 to benefit the NKF Serving Ohio’s Emergency Financial Assistance program and the OSU Endowment Fund helping hundreds of kidney patients with financial assistance for essential medications, transportation to life-sustaining treatments, and nutritional supplements. Kappa Kidney Camp
The NKF Serving Ohio is pleased, once again to offer the Kappa Kidney Camp for children with kidney disease. Kappa Kidney Camp offers a wonderful array of summertime activities in an environment specifically designed for youngsters, ages 8 to 18 years old who are either on dialysis or who have had a kidney transplant. Campers enjoy a six-day, five night stay at a camp fully staffed with expert medical care.
