Local Transplant Recipients Prepare for Games!

Join Us For the 2009 U.S. Transplant Games in Madison, Wisconsin

The U.S. Transplant Games is a four-day athletic competition among recipients of organ transplants. The event is held every two years and brings together transplant recipients and organ donor families from around the nation. As much as the Games is an athletic event that calls attention to the success of organ and tissue transplantation, it is also a celebration of life among recipients, their families and friends.

If your most recent life-saving solid organ transplant (including allogenic bone marrow/stem cell) has been functioning for at least six months, you, as a transplant recipient, are eligible to compete! Please contact us soon so we can keep you posted on the latest information as it becomes available.

Congratulations to last year's Team South & Central Texas. Team members Rob Aguirre, Lane Hedgepeth, Hunter Messer, Ann Read, Alyssa Smith, Keith Steward and Michael Walter brought home five gold medals and one silver!!! more info
