U.S. Transplant Games & Team Georgia
Team Georgia is a group of transplant recipients who celebrate their second chance at life by preparing for and competing in the U.S. Transplant Games, an Olympic-style event held every two years.  Recipients (athletes) are joined by donor families, living donors, friends and family as well as many other spectators in helping to bring greater awareness to the need for more organ donors. The transaction Council gives members information and programs in education, fitness and research designed to improve quality of life.  The mission is to ensure that organ transplant recipients receive the finest possible care.  Membership is open to all individuals and their families who are awaiting or have received an organ transplant, as well as health care professionals, legislators, and other interested individuals. Patient & Family CouncilPatient and Family Council
The Patient and Family Council is the fastest growing and largest patient organization dedicated to issues affecting individuals with kidney disease.  It acts as a liaison between the NKF and the renal community and as a voice within the NKF on patient issues. More Info

The National Donor Family CouncilNational Donor Family Council
The National Donor Family Council was founded by the National Kidney Foundation in 1992 to serve as a “Home for Donor Families.”  Comprised of donor family members, friends and professionals, the National Donor Family Council supports the needs and expectations of all organ and tissue donor families and assists the health care professionals who work most closely with these families.
