Kids Camp
The National Kidney Foundation of Michigan's (NKFM) Kids Camp is designed to provide an opportunity for kidney patients between the ages of 8 and 16 to experience a week away at camp with their healthy peers. "Kidney Kids" as they are affectionately called, have the chance to be a "regular" kid for a week and do all of the same activities that a healthy child would get to do at camp. Kidney kids are able to participate in swimming, horseback riding, high ropes, archery, boating, arts & crafts and general camp activities which enable them to bond with staff and other kids. ![]()
