2009-2010 Research Grant Applications Now Being Accepted
The NKF Serving Upstate NY announces a limited number of research grants for the academic year 2009-2010. These projects should be related to nephrologic or urologic diseases and may be clinical or basic science studies. The total research allocation is $50,000. The awards are possible thanks to the generosity of individual NKF donors. Applicants must work in the nine county area served by the NKFUNY. New applicants will receive priority, though previously funded investigators are invited to submit pilot projects of exceptional merit.
The NKFUNY also accepts applications from workers involved in all aspects of the care of the patient with renal disease. Nurses, social workers and dieticians and others are encouraged to apply.
Application deadline is November 15, 2009 ![]()
