Exemplary Practice Awards
Each year, the Medical Advisory Board of the NKF of Florida, Inc. recognizes ESRD caregivers with the Exemplary Practice Awards. Awards are presented in six categories:
Nurse - either RN or LPN
Technician - patient care, machine, or reuse
Social Worker
Dietitian
Rehabilitation Professional
Physician
Nominations
Nominations are now being accepted for the Exemplary Practice Awards. Nominees should have worked in the renal field sufficiently long enough to establish a true "track record" and have clearly describable characteristics that indicate they deserve this honor. The person should be one who has performed over and above their job specifications in a paid or unpaid manner, including any volunteer work for the National Kidney Foundation. Selections will be based on the information contained in the nomination form; therefore, careful completion of the form is essential.

National Kidney Foundation Spring Clinical Meetings
The Spring Clinical Meetings (www.nkfclinicalmeetings.org) are designed to bring you fresh approaches to dealing with difficult clinical issues. The program includes interactive sessions for Nephrologists, Fellows and Residents, Nephrology Nurses and Technicians, Renal and Clinical Dietitians, Nephrology Social Workers, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. All programs are accredited for CME and/or CE credit hours.
