Your company can become a corporate sponsor of a NKF of Central New York, Inc. program or event.

There are a variety of programs and events to choose from, including the SADA Charity Preview, Kidney Walks, Cadillac Golf, KEEP kidney health screenings, and more. Benefits include recognition at the event or program and on all publicity and program materials. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law. This is a great opportunity to show support for local kidney patients and their families, and those at risk for kidney disease.

Congressman Walsh has been representing Central New York in Washington, DC for the past 15 years. Since then he has helped improve the standard of living and business in the area by championing various initiatives including securing federal funding for the Kidney Plus Program and his support of the WIC Program (Women with Infants and Children) and TEFAP Program (The Emergency Food Assistance Program).

Senator John A. DeFrancisco

Senator DeFrancisco has been serving Syracuse in Albany for the past 11 years. In that time he has helped the area by being both a community leader and education advocate. Senator DeFrancisco is a former member and President of the Syracuse City School District Board of Education and a past Vice President of the Conference of Large City Boards of Education. He has also served as chair of the New York State Senate's Tourism, Recreation and Sports Development Committee. At present, he is chair of the Senate's prestigious Judiciary Committee.

“I am pleased to have obtained a grant totaling $75,000 for the NKF of Central New York, Inc.'s Kidney Plus Program. The money will support three new mobile-health screening vans that will bring health care services such as kidney screening right into the heart of Central New York neighborhoods. Such outreach programs are essential to promoting awareness of kidney disease and improving the health of residents throughout this community.”
