Our Leadership Society includes our most dedicated donors whose generous gifts help fund our programs and financially sustain our organization. As a valued member of the society you will receive exclusive benefits including updates on groundbreaking developments in kidney research and care, invitations to special events, recognition at the World Kidney Day celebration, and listing in our Honor Roll of Donors. A minimum donation of $1,000 is required to join the Leadership Society.

Make a Memorial and Tribute Gift

When you honor a loved one in sympathy, as a living memorial, or to celebrate a special occasion* with your donation to the National Kidney Foundation, we will send a personalized card notifying the family or honoree of your generosity. *(birthdays, Bat/Bar Mitzvahs, anniversaries, weddings, Mother's Day, graduations, etc.)

Make a Gift of Securities/Stocks

Call us for detailed information on making a donation of securities/stocks.

Make a Planned Gift

To fund its important programs, the National Kidney Foundation depends on private contributions from caring individuals. And every year, more of these donors are discovering the benefits of supporting us through their financial, tax and estate plans. Become a member of our Heritage Club by remembering NKF in your will, estate plan or other long-range financial arrangement. We are proud to extend an invitation to join our Heritage Club to those who notify us of their commitment to include the NKF in their estate plans. The Heritage Club was created to recognize and thank all donors who make long-range plans to provide future financial resources for the National Kidney Foundation.

Make a gift at work

There are many ways to use your workplace to maximize charitable gifts to the National Kidney Foundation:

  1. Your company may offer a matching gift program for employees who make charitable donations; most of these programs match contributions dollar for dollar, and some will even double or triple the amount of your gift!
  2. Your company may be part of an employee giving program such as the United Way, Community Health Charities, Combined Federal Campaign, etc.
  3. Organize a company team for our Kidney Walks, golf outing, etc. and build office spirit!
  4. Your company may offer company sponsorships for events.

Donor Recognition

We ensure that individuals and organizations who provide us with charitable donations receive our heartfelt recognition for their generosity in several ways depending on the level of support. We publish an annual Honor Roll of Donors, recognize select donations in our newsletter, Update, and our web site www.kidneygny.org, and publicly acknowledge and thank donors at special events.
