Kidney Cars - The easy way to donate your car, van, truck, or boat. By donating your vehicle, you are helping to fund public education, patient and community services, research, professional education and organ donation programs of the National Kidney Foundation.
This February, the NKFM is giving back to Michigan residents who donate their used vehicles to the organization’s Kidney Cars program. That’s because anyone who has donated their car can refer a friend to the program and receive a $25 gift card in return.
If you have donated in the past, just refer a friend, neighbor, relative or co-worker to Kidney Cars. Once their donated vehicle is picked up, you will receive a $25 gift card in the mail. To redeem the gift card, referrals must be made between February 1st 2010 and May 1st 2010. Just tell them to call 800-488-CARS (2277) or visit www.kidneycars.com.

How To Help
Your support of the National Kidney Foundation is essential in our efforts to stem the tide of kidney disease, and we urge you to help any way you can. To that end, we offer a number of ways for you to join in the fight. You can:
Donate your organs and tissues by visiting Gift of Life Michigan and signing the Michigan Organ Donor Registry. Be sure to discuss your decision with your family.- Donate your time by volunteering at NKF fundraisers or community health events.
- Donate your products or services to one of our exciting special events.
- Donate your vehicle to the Kidney Cars vehicle donation program.
- Donate your money by attending one of our fundraising events or by making a planned gift.
