Car Donation
Kidney Cars, the National Kidney Foundation’s used car donation program is the largest in the country. In 2006, almost 40,000 vehicle donations were made, bringing in over 11 million dollars. We are proud that the proceeds from our charity car donation program continue to help the National Kidney Foundation prevent kidney disease and increase the availability of all organs for transplantation.
What You Get When You Give to Kidney Cars
Eighty-four (84%) percent of Americans who made a charity car donation to Kidney Cars last year itemized their tax returns and were able to reap a charitable deduction for their used car donation.
What We Get
Your car donation will pump dollars into public health education, organ donation programs and medical research to prevent kidney disease. On average, over 70% of the proceeds from our used car donation program go directly to fund our mission -- 30% more than the national average for vehicle donation programs. No wonder thousands of Americans put the pedal to the metal each year and accelerate their charitable giving by making a vehicle donation to the National Kidney Foundation's charity car donation program.
What People Are Saying About Kidney Cars...
"I am a Registered Nurse and have worked in dialysis for 26 years. I had heard about the donation program before but this was the first time I had the opportunity to use it. The process was easy, the person I spoke to was very helpful and pleasant. If I have the opportunity again I would definitely donate. Kidney disease is sneaky and people need to be aware of the danger of diabetes and hypertension."
"It was the easiest experience I’ve ever had in getting rid of a car. And at the same time, helping out a charity was awesome. Thanks for doing what you do."
"I was amazed how easy it was. I was pleased that we could donate the car to the kidney foundation as my husband has end stage kidney disease."
"We donated through the internet. The website is easy to understand and the whole process was short and a good experience."
"…I was glad I caught one of your advertisements (either TV or radio) that said to check carefully who I was giving the car to - otherwise, I might have been "fooled" by some of the other websites asking for car donations. Good job folks!"
"Great Experience. I have already recommended to several friends."
"It was great experience and I feel good that I could give the car to a good cause. It was my pleasure to donate the vehicle."
