The donor of this '97 Dodge Intrepid was an elderly lady living in a retirement apartment building. She had been in a fender bender and was becoming unsure of her driving. Encouraged by her daughter in California, she donated the car to the National Kidney Foundation. At the time of donation, the car was three years old with only 12,000 miles on it. It sold for $10,000.
