The following hotels have been designated as official hotels of the 2006 U.S. Transplant Games and are available at special event rates. The hotel rates are per room, per night plus applicable taxes (15.1%, at time of printing).

Many Games venues are within walking distance of the Galt House, Marriott Downtown Louisville and Hyatt Regency Louisville hotels and all three hotels are connected to the Kentucky International Convention Center (KICC) by pedway. Please note that the Games’ registration/check-in, expo, Athlete Village, Coffee House and other special events will be held at the Galt House Hotel.

TRAVEL

Louisville is accessible from all parts of the United States via trains, planes and automobiles. Click the links below to determine your most convenient mode of travel.

By Plane

Louisville International Airport (SDF- Standiford Field) is conveniently located just 10 minutes from downtown Louisville. The airport is serviced by most major carriers, with 100 flights daily. Discounts have been arranged with various airlines for travel to and from Louisville. Certain restrictions may apply. (U.S. Air and Delta no longer offer meeting discount programs.) Tickets may be purchased directly with each airline via the phone or at the airport for an additional ticketing charge of $10-$15. (This amount is subject to change.) At the time of this posting, there was no ticketing fee for reservations made and ticketed through the airline’s Web sites.

  • American Airlines - American offers “zone fares” or a 5% discount off the lowest applicable published air fare for round-trip travel from June 13-24, 2006 on American Airlines, American Eagle® and AmericanConnection® from anywhere in the United States and Canada. To make a discount reservation, log on towww.AA.com and use discount code A3866AP or call American’s Meeting Services Desk at (800) 433-1790 from anywhere in the United States or Canada.
  • Continental Airlines - Continental Airlines offers special zone fares or discounts of 2% to 15% off published fares for travel June 11-26, 2005. Call your travel professional or Continental MeetingWorks at (800) 468-7022 for reservations. Refer to Z Code ZS96 and Agreement Code: VQ06F7. Or, save an additional 3% off by booking your own reservations atwww.continental.com. Choose your flight times and access your meeting discounts by inserting ZS96 VQ06F7 in the Offer Code box.
  • Northwest - Northwest offers 5% to 15% off the lowest applicable published air fare for travel from June 13-24, 2006. Use your assigned WorldFile/Ticket Designator NM98X to purchase your tickets and your negotiated discount will be applied to available fares. Just log on towww.nwa.com. Click on "NWA Discount Travel E-Cert Redemption," which is located at the bottom of the Flights tab. On the Flight Search screen, click Login. Enter your WorldPerks number or Continue to login as Guest. Complete the Flight Search section and navigate to the bottom where you will see 'Do you have an E-Cert Fare, electronic voucher or meeting agreement?'. Select type and then enter the WorldFile number in the Meeting WorldFile Number box and complete your transaction. You may also call the Northwest Meeting Services Reservations Desk at (800) 328-1111.

By Train

The Louisville Amtrak station (LVL) is located at 720 West Muhammad Ali Blvd.; Greyhound Station; Louisville, KY 40203, just one mile from the Galt House Hotel.

By Car/Bus
